The B-Rank Wars are in full swing at the Border Defense Agency's headquarters, with each squad putting out a valiant effort to earn a position in the forthcoming away mission. Although Osamu Mikumo and the other members of Tamakoma-2 have so far survived, they will need to exert much more effort in the final rounds than they have so far been able to. The squad adds a skilled new member and starts to practice and devise new tactics, but in the midst of their efforts, the group is rocked by a contentious argument that might threaten their entry into the Neighbor's reality.
