Makoto Misumi is sent to another planet to meet the goddess and become the hero as part of a strange contract made years ago by a goddess and his parents. Makoto, on the other hand, is deemed "hideous" by the deity, who refuses to even look at him and revokes his heroic title. The goddess sends Makoto to the darkest reaches of the wasteland, far from human civilization, in exchange for giving him the ability to understand all languages except human. Makoto's latent physical and magical talents awaken as a result of the discrepancy between Earth and this new universe, making him tremendously powerful. He meets a variety of demihumans and legendary beings who are all enthralled by his characteristics and assist Makoto in his construction project.
