In Universal Century 0079, the war between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon continues to rage. The assault carrier White Base stumbles onto the mines of M�quve, however Ramba Ral and his team are pursuing them and are not giving up without a fight. Desperately, White Base continues to try to reach Jaburo, the Earth Federation headquarters, only to come across the Black Tri-Star.
