In a futuristic postwar Japan, four military zones are split, each headed by opposing countries vying for total control of the country. Gai, an autonomous AI in need of battery power, is discovered by Amou Shiiba, a 16-year-old orphan kid who is covertly reconstructing an abandoned AMAIM named Kenbu. Amou and Gai find themselves in the heart of a crisis as a result of their decision to aid one another, and Amou is labeled a terrorist and expelled from society. Despite this, Amou refuses to remain silent in the face of injustice, and he sets off on a mission.
