Despite Kyouko Honda's tragic passing, her vibrant memory endures, offering support to her loved ones at difficult times. Kyouko, however, was not always the sage and radiant woman who is lovingly remembered today. Young Kyouko chooses instability over a life of crime because she feels abandoned by her own family and rejected by society, endangering her education and future. Fortunately, a fortunate encounter with her future husband Katsuya, who has just begun his teaching internship at her school, prevents her from sinking into despair. Katsuya immediately wins her over by his compassion and attention toward her—sincere gestures that she has never experienced before—with a serenity that is unexpectedly undisturbed by Kyouko's tantrums. Kyouko opens her heart to the other as they get closer.
