Alice Hayashi wins a trip to the moon in a sweepstakes in the year 2000. When her shuttle takes off, however, everything goes horribly wrong, and the next thing she knows, she's landed someplace in a cold wilderness. Strange troops strike her before she can gather her bearings, forcing her to run. Alice eventually encounters a young guy named Yuan, who informs her that she is in Lapland in the year 2030. The troops following her are under the command of Nero, an enigmatic leader who rules the planet through his supercomputer. He is also responsible for the reduction of the Earth's population by more over seven billion people. Alice, Yuan, and the robotic maid Maria travel to Kingdom, convinced that Nero had something to do with her time leap.
